My current job. Splashtop is the worldwide leader in remote access, remote support, screen sharing, and collaboration solutions.
Here I report to Marketing Director and COO. I am tasked with increasing inbound leads by owning all content marketing, SEO, PR, and design efforts.
Accomplishments:
- Increased organic leads by 18% over one year by acquiring top rankings in Google search results for target keywords. Achieved by proactively research keywords, and creating new content (especially competitive comparisons!).
- Improved conversion rates and search rankings by optimizing top landing pages. Proposed design, structure, and content changes to Marketing Director, then led Web Developer in applying changes.
- Mentored two marketing interns each Summer. Assigned challenging projects including writing case studies and producing videos. Dedicated time teaching them how to successfully complete projects.
NeoSpeech | Marketing Specialist
NeoSpeech was a speech technology company specializing in providing natural sounding text-to-speech voices. NeoSpeech was a division of Hoya Corporation and has since been consolidated into the ReadSpeaker brand.
I reported to the CEO and was responsible for increasing leads through organic, paid, and email marketing.
Accomplishments:
- Achieved first page ranking of high-traffic “text to speech” keyword. Earned by persuading CEO to let me lead our only developer in building a text-to-speech demo page.
- Increased inbound leads by 75% after one year. Collaborated with Sales Team to create new content (including blogs, video explainers, and an eBook) to overcome challenge of new leads not knowing which product they needed during sign up process.
- Decreased cost-per-conversion of paid campaigns by 15%. Managed $15,000 monthly budget.
Davidson’s Organics | Marketing and Business Development
Davidson’s is an organic tea manufacturer, wholesaler, and retailer. I reported to the Owner/CEO. I managed all marketing campaigns and represented the company at all trade shows.
Accomplishments:
- Promoted by owner after nine months and was tasked with managing new private label program leads. Managed over 250 leads in one year resulting in 10% new business.
Inkblot | Account Manager
My first real marketing job and how I got myself through college. Inkblot was the promotional department of the Associate Students at the University of Nevada.
At this job I was responsible for creating marketing materials and promoting events on campus hosted by various clubs and organizations. I acted as the liaison between clients and our team. I led our team (including designers, photographers, videographers, and social media associates) in building and executing each campaign.
Accomplishments:
- Successfully led the promotional efforts of over 200 events at the University of Nevada.
